'Buck-A-Disc' listing. up for auction today is a 2006 issued CD of 20th century/Modern Orchestral- Choral music from British Composer Gerald Finzi titled 'Intimations Of Immortality'. this disc contains a performance of the title piece, performed by the Bournemouth Symphony Chorus & Orchestra, led by David Hill, with guest tenor, the always great James Gilchrist. the rest of the disc is filled with Finzi's 'for st cecilia', also an excellent performance from the same group. a good buy for the fan of choral or modern-era classical. Naxos 8.557863 w/12pp booklet. Allmusic.com rates this at 4.5 of 5 stars. hello! for my latest round of post-retirement Ebay Auctions, I will be selling off the rest of my Classical CD collection.
