These fat quarters are curated by Hoffman from a selection of Hoffmans 1895 Watercolor fabrics. This fabric is hand dyed in Indonesia using traditional techniques. This fabric is perfect for quilting and can also be used for other sewing projects. Each colored assortment consists of 12 fat quarters. Each color is a selection of 12 different shades of that color. You can hand wash fat quarters but I would personally not machine wash them since it may lead to fraying of the fabric. It is easier to wash the fabric by hand and line dry or wash after the edges are sewn. Batik fabric is a hand made and hand painted item from Indonesia. There are always variations from roll to roll and color to color. This is the beauty of these goods and is not to be considered flawed. These are one of a kind fabrics that are unique to the artisans of Bali and are not to be considered flawed. Returns: If, for any reason, you want to return your purchase you must: Contact me through Ebay if you have any problems with your order and give me the opportunity to correct the problem. Ship the item back to me within 30 days of receiving the item. If I have sent the wrong item, contact me with an image of the item you received and I will remit a label for the return and mail you what you ordered. If you need the item faster please reorder the item and I will refund your purchase when I receive the return. Nothing is refundable if it has been altered or damaged in any way. If you purchase a quilt pack of strips, fat quarters or anything commercially packaged and you open it, THE SALE IS FINAL. Shipping costs are not refundable. I usually ship within 1 business day of receiving your payment but on occasion, my post office does not. Shipping within the US is via USPS and reflects the cost of postage and packaging. All packages shipped include a tracking number and you will be able to see that number in your purchase history as soon as I ship the item. I am not liable for the loss of a package once tracking has confirmed that it has arrived at your address. I do not consider this a reason for return since it is a result of how the fabric is made. This is a handmade fabric and because of how it is made and the low cost that the manufacturers pay for the fabric I consider it a inherent part of the result of having fabric made in Indonesia.
