'Buck-A-Disc' listing. up for auction today is a 1999 issued CD of Classical-era Chamber Solo Piano music by Irish composer John Field titled 'Piano Music Vol 1'. Field is credited as the creator of the Nocturne, and this disc, performed solo by Benjamin Frith, has the first nine Field Nocturnes, with two of his Sonatas also interleaved in the program. fine performances of fine chamber music IMO. Naxos 8.550761 w/8pp booklet.
