Sacramento Northern Electrics AUDIO CD. This is a CD re-release and digital remaster of the 1965 Sacramento Northern Electrics album, live field recordings of Sacramento Northern interurban 1005 in 1962, recorded in Marysville and Yuba City, CA, and Sacramento Northern freight motors 654 and 653 working in Marysville and Yuba City. Contains operation sounds for both locomotive types. Originally recorded by Tom Irion and released as a vinyl record, this recording was digitally remastered by John Frank with the permission of Tom Irion. Cover art was scanned and reproduced with permission of the Western Railway Museum. This is a glass mastered CD, not a CD-R release. Note that photos of the CD case interior are a sample: you are purchasing an unopened, unplayed copy still in original plastic wrap.
